## How to connect iMessage to HubSpot

### 1. Get your Blooio API key

Sign up for a free Blooio trial. In your dashboard, open Settings → API and copy the generated key. Your iMessage-enabled phone number is ready immediately — no carrier registration or 10DLC paperwork.

### 2. Add a HubSpot webhook action

In HubSpot, create a workflow triggered by a contact property, list membership, or form submission. Add a 'Send a webhook' action that POSTs to https://backend.blooio.com/v2/api/chats/{phone}/messages with your Blooio key in the Authorization header.

### 3. Map HubSpot contact fields

Pass the contact's phone number, first name, and any custom property into the Blooio request body. Use HubSpot's personalization tokens to personalise the iMessage copy the same way you would for an email.

### 4. Handle replies via inbound webhook

Configure a Blooio inbound webhook pointing at your HubSpot custom event endpoint (or a Zapier/Make bridge). Every reply, read receipt, and reaction lands on the HubSpot contact timeline as a native activity.
